Forgetmenaut, Inc. ("Forgetmenaut", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights over it. It applies to all users of our website and services.

Information We Collect

  • Technical Data — IP address, login data, browser type and version, time zone, browser plug-in types, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.

We also collect and process IP addresses and associated geolocation data for fraud detection and spam prevention, processed using MaxMind's GeoLite2 service. We do not use this data to identify specific individuals or households. This product includes GeoLite2 Data created by MaxMind, available from maxmind.com.

Google API Data

Google Integration — Limited Use Disclosure

Forgetmenaut's use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the core service functionality described below.

Forgetmenaut offers an optional integration with Google Drive and Google Sheets. If you choose to connect your Google account, you will be asked to authorize access via Google OAuth 2.0. We request only the following permissions:

  • Google Drive — drive.file: Access is limited to the specific files and folders you explicitly select using the Google file picker. We never access any other files in your Google Drive.
  • Google Sheets — spreadsheets: The ability to read from and write to the specific Google Sheets you have selected as data sources. Write access is used solely to update or delete rows containing personal data when fulfilling a verified data erasure request on your behalf.

We use data obtained from Google APIs only for the following purposes:

  • Reading the contents of your selected files and sheets to match subscriber or contact records against incoming privacy requests.
  • Updating or deleting rows in your selected sheets to fulfill verified data erasure requests submitted through the Service.

Google user data is not shared with third parties except as strictly necessary to operate the Service (for example, encrypted storage on secure cloud infrastructure). OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored encrypted at rest.

You may revoke Forgetmenaut's access to your Google account at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions or by disconnecting your Google account from within the Forgetmenaut application settings.

How We Use Your Information

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we use your data in the following circumstances:

  • To perform the contract we have entered into with you.
  • Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
  • Where we need to comply with a legal obligation.

Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. Access to your personal data is limited to those employees, agents, contractors, and third parties who have a business need to know.
